Hi,
I called Baling Hay by Carol Ormand yesterday and we made it work,
but the Men's Allemande seemed to go on forever - they went a lot more than
1 & 3/4 when they used all the music.
Have I missed a move out?

never know for sure, but probably one of those!
Joe Kwiatkowski, you beat me to the punch, dammit. But since i already had
the card in my stack for tonight ;) here are the calls
Bats in the Grange (improper) Steve Zakon-Anderson
A1. Nbr balance & swing
A2. Gents L 1.5, partner swing
B1. Partner promenade 3/4 (until 1s are facing down, 2s up in original
improper orientation)
neighbor do-si-do
B2. In a ring, balance (4) 2s arch, 1s dive through (4)
IN REVERSE 1s arch, 2s back up (4) 2s arch, 1s dive through to meet
new nbrs (4)
I personally prefer a left shoulder do-si-do in B2 since it flows naturally
from the promenade motion path, and is spookier.

ideas folks are sending out!
There are several dances out there with a progression from mad robin with
current neighbors to mad robin with new neighbors. My favorite is
Mad Robin Migration II improper
A1 Mad robin (clockwise)
Ladies allemande left 1 1/2
A2 Partner balance and swing
B1 Men allemande left 1 1/2
Neighbor swing
B2 Right left thru
Mad Robin (counterclockwise)
But it sounds from your description " the progression is from a mad robin
with your old
hands four sliding along the set into a mad robin with the new four" like
you mean a dance with a becket progression where you mad robin with current
neighbor, slide left then mad robin with next neighbors. I haven't seen a
dance like that.
